Do-Crew: Turning Ability into Opportunity

Sep 25, 2025 | Strategy

At Management Governance Australia Group and Workforce Plus Inc., we are committed to creating real, meaningful pathways into work for people with disability. That’s why we’re excited to share that Do-Crew is hiring!

Do-Crew is an innovative program designed to support people aged 16 years and over who live with a disability or mental illness and have NDIS support. As part of Do-Crew, participants join a supportive team working with local businesses on tasks such as cleaning, warehouse work, and other entry-level roles—always with tailored support in place.

What makes Do-Crew different?
Training First
Before starting employment, participants complete a 4–5 week training program (3 days a week). Training is funded through Learn Local (approx. $65) and supported by NDIS funding (1:3 Group Community) for transport and assistance.

This training equips participants with:

– General employability and communication skills
– Workplace health and safety knowledge
– Practical, hands-on experience in the tasks they’ll be doing on the job

Real Employment
After successfully completing the training, participants can apply to join Do-Crew as employees of Workforce Plus Inc.
– Employment is on a casual basis, paid at award hourly rates
– NDIS support workers continue to provide transport and on-the-job assistance during shifts
– Participants work as part of a supportive team, contributing to local businesses while building confidence and skills

Why it matters
Do-Crew is more than just a job program—it’s about inclusion, opportunity, and value. Every member of Do-Crew not only earns a fair wage but also becomes a valued part of their local community, strengthening both businesses and people.
